Halloween 2008

What a great 2008 Halloween! We enjoyed a week full of festivities from a "Trunk-or-Treat" at our local church to halloween night trick-or-treating! I even decorated our vehicle as a shark for our church activity, which is encouraged. As the kids go car to car "trunk or treating" - they admire the decorations on everyones cars! I can't take credit for the idea - one of my patients at work thought of the idea. Speaking of patients, this was the same patient that gave me quite a fright at work! I hate being scared and I told him about the time I was chased from a haunted house with a guy holding a chain saw and fainted as he chased me! Well...a few days later, I am walking in to his treatment room and I scream as he is holding a child's chain saw and has a hockey mask on!! It took me several minutes before my heart rate was restored to normal! -LOL. He got me good! His wife came in a cople days later and had to apologize for his behavior! The remainder of Halloween was much less frightening...thank goodness! This was Ethan's first...and being the second boy, wore his brothers first halloween outfit as a pea in a pod. He was so cute! His cheeks were too cute...I kept kissing them all night! Ethan enjoyed watching his brother act goofy and excited about all the candy! Shawn dressed up as a fighter pilot. He loved his outfit and I must say, he looked very authentic! I hope Ethan likes it too...chances are he will be a fighter pilot one year too! Yes...I dressed up too! I had a company Halloween party to attend and another co-worker was Thing 2 with me. I decided to dress up as I took Shawn trick-or-treating! -Daddy stayed home with Ethan sampling the candy! What great memories and fun by all!
